ACCIDENT AND EMERGENCY RADIOLOGY | Learn the fundamentals of interpreting the most common plain film x-rays including chest, orthopedic and abdominal films. We provide a robust array of video tutorials prior to attending the course. Participants evaluate, order and interpret radiological images. Orthopedic faculty teach our participants hands-on application of appropriate splinting techniques for orthopedic injuries.

CADAVERIC SUTURING | In collaboration with Duke University’s School of Medicine and the Chairman of Plastic Surgery, learn from the world’s premiere plastic surgery residency program the basics of suturing. Enjoy a 30-minute tutorial followed by a full-day in our cadaver lab – practicing what you have learned. Many of our participants report this is by far the most comprehensive course in suturing for nurse practitioners. Many of our graduates suggest all post-graduate nurse practitioners should participate in this course for world class competency skills training.
